Mulled Wine

Ingredients mulled wine

  • 80 – 120 g raw sugar, to taste
  • 250 g water
  • 20 g lemon juice (approx. ½ lemon)
  • 2 cinnamon quills, plus extra to serve
  • 12 whole cloves
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • 750 g dry red wine (1 bottle)
  • orange, sliced, to serve


  1. Place sugar, water, lemon juice, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg into mixing bowl and cook 5 min/ 100°C/ speed 1.
  2. Add wine and cook 7 min/ 80°C/ speed 1. Strain through simmering basket into serving jug and serve hot, garnished with orange slices and extra cinnamon quills.


TIP This is a great recipe for those cold winter months or to serve at your next Christmas in July party.

Berry Liqueur

Ingredients Berry Liqueur

  • 450 g mixed berries, frozen
  • 300 g water
  • 150 g sugar
  • 30 g vanilla sugar, homemade
  • 300 g rum


  1. Place berries, water, sugar and vanilla sugar in mixing bowl then heat 15 min/ 90°C/ speed 2. Pour through a fine sieve, collecting liquid in a bowl below. Discard contents of sieve.
  2. Place bowl with strained liquid on mixing bowl lid and weigh in rum. Remove bowl from lid and stir together well. Pour into sterilised bottles (see tip). Label, then, once cool, store in fridge until presenting as gifts.
·  To ensure the liqueur keeps well, make sure the bottles are sterilised. Do this by washing the bottles thoroughly with detergent and then drying them in a warm oven. Pour the finished liqueur into still warm bottles.
· The liqueur keeps unopened for up to 3 months when stored in a cool, dry place.

Jose’s Bloody Mary

Ingredients for tomato juice Bloodymary_1

  • 300 g tomatoes, very mature
  • 100 g water

Preparations of tomato juice

  1. Place ingredients into mixing bowl and set 2 min/ speed 10.
  2. Drain in a fine mesh sieve.

Ingredients for the cocktail

  • Ice
  • Vodka
  • Homemade tomato juice, prepared with your TM5
  • 1 lemon, cut in slices
  • Freshly mixture of rock salt with 2 peppers

Preparation of cocktail

  1. Place 2 or 3 ice rocks in each glass.
  2. Cover with vodka.
  3. Pour the tomato juice and a slice of lemon.
  4. Season with the aromatic mixture and gently mix with a spoon.
  5. Enjoy!

Advocaat – Eggnog liqueur

Ingredients Eggnog Liquor

  • 6 egg yolks
  • 250 g caster sugar
  • ½ tsp natural vanilla extract
  • 375 g evaporated milk (1 can)
  • 125 g vodka
  • 125 g brandy


  1. Insert butterfly whisk. Place egg yolks, sugar and vanilla into mixing bowl and cook 5 min/ 70°C/ speed 4.
  2. Add evaporated milk, vodka and brandy and cook 3 min/ 70°C/ speed 4. Transfer liqueur into a hot-rinsed sealable storage bottle, leaving a few centimeters space at the top.
  3. Shake liqueur well, before pouring into glasses and serving.


TIP: · Advocaat is delicious poured over homemade vanilla ice cream, Christmas cake or Sago plum pudding. This is a thick style of advocaat. If you prefer a thinner consistency, add 150-200 g full cream milk in step 2 and proceed as per recipe.

Bellini Cocktail

Ingredients Cocktail Bellini

  • 150 g peaches, peeled, stoned, halved or tinned peach halves, drained
  • 10 g lemon juice
  • 30 g sugar
  • 100 g ice cubes
  • 1200 g Champagne or sparkling wine


  1. Place peaches, lemon juice, sugar, ice and 75 g Champagne in mixing bowl then crush 30 sec/ speed 7. Divide between 6 Champagne flutes and top up with remaining Champagne. Serve immediately.
